BLISCare pays for all complications related to bariatric surgery. For patients who had weight loss surgery exclusion in their primary insurance policy, this is especially important. BLISCare coverage duration is typically 90 days, but optional coverage is available for up to 18 months after surgery for an additional fee.

The best part is that the cost of BLISCare is included in our cash-pay price. BLIS offers a patient financing solution in partnership with ChaseHealthAdvance called BLISPay, with credit limits up to $20,000 available to qualified applicants, which can be used to pay for surgery. In summary, not only does this plan cover the procedure, but patients also do not have to worry about financial responsibility in the event of post-surgery complications.
